Dermoscopic features of Pityriasis rubra pilaris (PRP)

Dermoscopic features of Pityriasis Rubra Pilaris:

The popular lesions of classical type of PRP show oval or round yellowish structures surrounded by vessels of varied morphology and often centered by central keratin plugs.

The palms plantar keratoderma of PRP shows structureless orange areas

Circumscribed juvenile type – on the elbows and knees displays whitish keratotic plugs with yellow keratotic plugs with a peripheral yellow keratotic ring which is surrounded by a erythematous halo with linear and dotted vessels.
